Beginner's guide to getting started

You will need running gear, running shoes, energy gels for running, fuel belt, sports drinks etc. The initial part of the training is set to build up distance and endurance. Advanced techniques include hill training, strength training etc.

It is best to start training only after you are comfortable in running a 5K or a 10K. It gives you confidence to get started on the right foot and continue steadily.
