Gu is an energy gel used by runners to run long distance races. It is a gel with a fairly thick consistencyt.

Easy to carry
Lot of flavors available:
Flavors with caffeine: Vanilla, Chocolate, Orange, Tri-berry, Mint Chocolate, Jet blackberry
Cannot vary consumption of a pack: swallow it all or throw it away if too much to take in one go
Tends to sit in stomach for a while once swallowed
Easy to get gel on your fingers if not careful

Luna Moons
What does it do?
Luna moons are an energy chew and provide an athlete with electrolytes, vitamins and carbohydrates for increased energy while exercising.
Things I Like:
Semi-solid and easily chewable
All the Moons do not need to be consumed in one go
Easy to Carry
Enjoyable, nice tasting and can linger to chew it on the run
Packets very easy to open
No mess when pack is opened
Can vary timing between consumption of individual Moons depending on requirements of runners
Do not contain Caffeine
Things I Would Change:
Limited Flavors compared to Gu:
Available Flavors: Watermelon, Pomegranate, Blueberry
Occupies more space than Gu to carry
